Google’s world shattering, and controversial, quest to organize the world’s information is well known. Google has, however, taken the first step toward being the first search engine in space.
In celebration of the first Moon landing today in 1968 the gargantuan search engine released the first interactive lunar map using the Google Maps engine.
This new lunar tool comes about from the Copernicus initiative, Google’s audacious plan for lunar domination in the Search Engine Race.

It has been a few days now since the bomb attacks in London. The death toll is up to 52 and the police say it will rise. Everyone will agree that it is sad to see another attack, especially on our friends in the UK.
But, what did they expect? To go on living without fear? Really guys, did you think this was a USA only problem? The way I see it, an attack was coming, I’d been waiting for it actually. What we have is the emergence of one of two ideas:
- There really were terrorists in London that day, and being our biggest allies, the UK was bound to be hit.
- Or, the Brits were spending so much time yelling at Mr. Blair and not getting into the mindset of global domination that an “event” was planed by locals.
Like I said, it was bound to happen. I can’t say which scenario will ring true, but I’ve watched enough Discovery and History channel programs about the CIA and friends to certainly consider scenario 2 as an option.
